Rosemary
I’ll be honest – I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. I haven’t cooked with rosemary often (that I know of – definitely not a chef) so I had no idea what it smelled like. I was so pleasantly surprised when I turned on the diffuser and this gorgeous smell started to fill up my living room and my house. I felt a burst of inspiration almost immediately!
Historically, the rosemary plant was regarded as sacred by many civilizations. It was used as a fumigant to help drive away evil spirits, and to protect against plague and infectious illness.
Rosemary is a versatile oil beneficial to the scalp and hair and commonly used in other cosmetic products as well. Its herbaceous and woody aroma has also been known to promote clarity and insight and is an important ingredient in many Young Living products.
Blends well with: Basil, cedarwood, frankincense, lavender, peppermint, rosewood, eucalyptus, marjoram, pine.
Safety Data: Avoid during pregnancy. Not for use by people with epilepsy. Avoid if dealing with high blood pressure.
