The Checkers Show is a high energy show that combines comedy with amazing stunts, unicycling and juggling for a magical and fun experience. Junior Creative Writers, 11am to 12pm at the Niagara On The Lake Public Library located at 10 Anderson Lane in Niagara On The Lake. creative writing exercises designed to inspire young writers and help them find their flow. Each hour-long session features multiple activities to help access imagination, develop writing skills and gain confidence in writing. The focus is on creating a fun atmosphere where creative expression is safe, playful and engaging.
St.Catharines Baby Box Community Event, 11am to 1pm at YFC/Youth Unlimited St.Catharines located at 226 Merritt Street in St.Catharines. All expectant and new parents with a child 3 months of age or younger in Ontario, are eligible to receive a free Baby Box! All Baby Boxes include a firm mattress, waterproof cover and fitted sheet, along with a bag of newborn essential items such as diapers and lotion for baby, and breast pads and breast milk storage containers for mom! We Are Wainfleeters, 1 to 2pm at Wainfleet Public Library located at 31909 Park Street in Wainfleet. This is a book launch. Bridging Our Future – Closing Reception, 4 to 6pm, 3rd floor of St.Catharines City Hall located at 50 Church Street. More than 200 people helped create this mobile mural during 2017 Pow Wow in October at Montebello Park. The mural is made up of five canvases designed to be displayed together. It explores a vision emerging from First Nations culture, as well as new connections and friendships, between Native and non-Native peoples.
This is not a drill: a 21st Century Feminism Workshop, 5 to 6:30pm at the Brock Student Justice Centre at Brock University. This workshop will discuss women in the workplace, academia, the political role of women, women in the resistance, the changing face of feminism, modern barriers to success and tools for overcoming hurdles in 2018.

Congratulations to the Niagara Anti Racism Coalition for peacefully counter protesting against a group of self identified white supremacists earlier this week. They ended their protest early and you showed them that there is no room for racism, bigotry, discrimination or hate here in Niagara. Keep fighting the good fight.
